Kerala’s New Agricultural Milestone: Indo-Dutch Centre of Excellence Commissioned By Saveer At Wayanad

We are pleased to announce the inauguration of the Centre of Excellence for Vegetables and Flowers in Wayanad, Kerala. Established as a demonstration cum training centre, this initiative is a significant step towards agricultural advancement in the region.

Commissioned under the National Action Plan for Indo-Dutch Cooperation Project, this centre operates within the premises of the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) at Ambalavayal. Sprawling over 300 acres, the centre was completed with a collaborative effort funded by the State Horticulture Mission and the Rebuild Kerala Initiative Programme of the Kerala state Government.

Constructed by Saveer Biotech Limited on turnkey basis, the inauguration ceremony took place on 09.05.2023, graced by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Sri. P. Prasad. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Vice Chancellor of Kerala Agricultural University and Agricultural Production Commissioner Dr. B. Ashok, Registrar of Kerala Agricultural University Dr. Sakeer Hussain, Wayanad District Collector Dr. Renu Raj I.A.S, and officials from the Dutch Embassy in India. This initiative symbolizes a collective effort towards fostering innovation and knowledge exchange in agriculture. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact of the Centre of Excellence on the agricultural landscape of Wayanad.
