Saveer Biotech Commissions 6th Speed Breeding Facility at ICAR-IIRMR, Bharatpur

We are proud to announce the successful commissioning of 6th Speed Breeding Facility by Saveer Biotech Limited at the ICAR-Indian Institute of Rapeseed-Mustard Research (IIRMR), Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

The state-of-the-art facility was officially inaugurated by Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR), in a ceremony that marked another milestone in India’s agricultural research and innovation journey. The inauguration reflects the government’s growing emphasis on accelerating crop development and improving food security through cutting-edge technology.

This advanced Speed Breeding Facility is designed to significantly shorten the crop breeding cycle, enabling researchers to achieve multiple generations of crops within a single year. Equipped with climate-controlled growth chambers, precision lighting systems, and integrated automation, the facility empowers scientists to rapidly develop high-yielding, disease-resistant varieties—crucial for ensuring sustainable agriculture and climate resilience.

As a pioneer and leader in the field, Saveer Biotech Limited has now successfully delivered six Speed Breeding Facilities across India. Our solutions are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each research institute, and we take pride in having collaborated with esteemed organizations. With each project, Saveer Biotech reaffirms its mission to empower agricultural research with cutting-edge technology and turnkey solutions that pave the way for food innovation and security.

The commissioning of this facility at IIRMR is expected to boost the pace of rapeseed-mustard crop improvement, helping breeders and scientists develop superior cultivars faster than ever before. This aligns with the national goals of enhancing productivity, sustainability, and farmer incomes.

We extend our sincere gratitude to ICAR-IIRMR for trusting Saveer Biotech as a partner in progress, and to Dr. Mangi Lal Jat for his presence and support during this important event.
