Foundation Laid for Advanced Crop Accelerator (Speed Breeding Facility)

The foundation stone for the prestigious Crop Accelerator (Speed Breeding Facility) at the ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, was successfully laid on March 30, 2026, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Mangi Lal Jat, Secretary (DARE) & Director General, ICAR; Dr. Devender Kumar Yadav, Deputy Director General (Crop Science), ICAR; and Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR–IARI. The ceremony, attended by distinguished scientists, officials, and staff, marks a significant milestone in strengthening India’s agricultural research infrastructure.
