Saveer designs and fabricate environmentally-controlled salt-tolerance testing facility to screen agricultural and horticulture crops for growth and productivity.
The facility is properly ventilated & all the chambers are seepage free with proper movement area. Its Roofs are covered by clear glazing and sides by SS screen net. Facility is lockable with all safety measures.
These facilities comes with features like large grow tanks which can evaluate crops from emergence through maturity. A programmable logic controller actuates the facility’s lightning, heating, ventilation and ambient temperature monitoring. The controller also automatically triggers Fertigation, replacement of supply water lost by evaporation and maintenance of brine concentration.
With this facility, salt tolerance response functions have already been determined for various crop varieties of wheat, barley, spring wheat, field pea and a number of perennial grasses. Opportunity exists for many more crops and different varieties.
